So you thought a hoodie was just a hoodie? Well, we've got news for you: when you add up the different fabrics, cuts, and colours you're left with a lot of options. Fear not though! Like our name says, we're here to make it easy.
Sweaters are categorized 2 ways: the cut and the fabric.
Different cuts of sweater include:
- Pullover Hoodie: your classic hoodie with the kangaroo pouch in the front.
- Full Zip Hoodie: great for ventilation when you can't decide if you want the sweater on or off.
- Quarter and Half Zip Sweaters: when you want to go for that business casual/semi-professional look.
- Crew Neck Sweaters: often used for that classic "collegiate" sweater look.
- Full Zip Sweaters: do you call it a sweater or a jacket? We debate this here all the time. Often used for more of an "athletic" look
There several categories of sweater fabrics to choose from (we'll refer to these down below):
- Basic Fleece: your standard 50/50 polyester/cotton sweater when you want to keep costs to a minimum.
- Premium Fleece: either 100% cotton or 60/40 cotton/polyester, these have a heavier, more fashionable feel than basic fleece sweaters.
- Performance Fleece: 100% polyester with that smoother, mositure wicking exterior. Comes in multiple weights/thicknesses.
- Cutter and Buck Sweaters: These sweaters are all uniques pieces, so you'll have to read their individual descriptions. Generally speaking, they're all a bit stretchier (they include some Spandex) and are extremely fashionable.
