Which suppliers/brands do you use?
We have a wide variety of suppliers we use for our apparel and safetywear which include: Sanmar/ATC, Canada Sportswear, Cutter and Buck, Tough Duck, Forcefield, Pukka, New Era, Callaway, Work King, AJM.
Are your products made in Canada?
Like most textiles these days our garments are largely manufactured overseas (in about a dozen different countries). That said, the vast majority of our products are warehoused and decorated (i.e. printed, embroidered, etc.) in Canada by Canadian-owned companies.
Should you desire a more Canadian-made product please email firstname.lastname@example.org with what you’re looking for: we have some garment options that are entirely made in Canada.
Do you carry youth sizes?
Yes, many of our items come in youth sizes.
What is the minimum?
Our minimum order for custom apparel is 12 units or more. Many of our blank items can be shipped in smaller quantities (1 unit +). The only exception is our Forcefield-branded items, where our order minimum is $200 units.
Is your safety stuff CSA approved?
Yes, all our hi vis items meet CSA Z96-15 standards. We have both Class 1 and Class 2 items. All items are level 2.
How does sizing work?
Our sizing is a bit different depending on which item you decide on. Please visit our “Other Info” section to view our sizing charts.
How much does it cost?
Our pricing ranges on both our blank apparel and our custom apparel to match a wide variety of budgets. You can check out our custom inquiry form or blank products by selecting either “General Apparel”, “Workwear by Tough Duck”, or “Hi Vis Apparel”. If you’re having trouble just email email@example.com.
All our custom quotes include free shipping on orders over $300, artwork development, setup fees, and no surcharges on oversized garments (i.e. 2XL+ surcharges). We pride ourselves on transparent pricing with no hidden fees in our quotes. The only exclusion to our quotes is sales tax which varies according to shipping destination (ask your rep for your relevant rate).
Can I buy things without a logo?
Yes you can get blank apparel, as well as custom apparel. We can also help you design a logo which is free with your custom apparel order.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept payments through major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). We also accept Paypal, etransfers, bank deposits, and cheques.
I’m a charity/other cause/reseller, can I get a discount?
At this time, we only offer bulk discounts for larger orders. We don’t offer any discounts or wholesale pricing for charities, resellers or other causes.
How much does shipping cost?
We have free shipping over $300, or $15 flat rate shipping to anywhere in Canada.
Do you offer a military discount?
No not at this time.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes, all our volume discounts are listed on each product page. Custom orders over 100 units are individually priced. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about our discounts.
How long my custom products will they take?
Our production time generally is about 2-3 weeks (not including shipping) for both screen printing and embroidered orders. Shipping time is generally 1-7 business days, so we suggest customers budget 3-4 weeks to be safe.
How long does it take my blank item to ship?
Shipping times vary depending on how far away you are from us and how remote you live. Generally it’s about 2-6 business days to ship.
Can you ship me a sample?
We can send a sample out to you. Generally we do take a deposit on samples (refunded to you once the garment comes back to us) and a shipping fee.
How do returns work?
Should you want to return or exchange your apparel, please send us an email to email@example.com. We will give you an RA number and an address to ship it back to us. Once returned, we will refund you the item cost. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Only non-customized/blank/stock products that are unused can be returned.
What is your repeat order policy?
Once you place a custom order with us, you can order repeats of your custom apparel in smaller quantities. Please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about ordering additional garments from us.
Can I put a logo on a single item?
Unfortunately at this time we can only custom garments in sets of 12 or above with the exception of repeat orders.
I have an item already, can you customize it for me?
We are only able to customize our own garments. We made this decision because should something happen during the production process, we want to make sure we can replace your items.
Is my logo big enough, or is it too big?
We would be happy to help size your logo to the appropriate size for your garment. We will be sure to let you know if some of the detail will not come out clearly on your logo (generally this happens when there is too much detail in too small of a space).
Can I ship me an item to more than 1 location?
Yes - depending on the size of your order and the number of locations being shipped to extra fees may or may not apply. Please advise us in advance of placing your order.
Do you have a store? Where are you located? Are you in Canada?
We are located at 1601 Victoria St N, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Please find us under the “Kaleidosports” sign.
Can you draw me a logo?
Absolutely, and it’s free with a custom apparel order. All we ask is that you provide us some images to work off of (even if it’s multiple different images you’d like put together). We need your ideas but then we can create the final product. What is included in your garment costs is drawing a single logo: unfortunately we must charge extra should you want multiple unique designs to choose from.
Can I see what it looks like before we start production?
For sure. Included in your pricing is a mock-up of your garment design, which you will need to approve before we start production.
What formats of artwork can I send you?
Vectored artwork (.ai, .svg) is preferred, but we can vector your artwork as part of your garment order, for free. If you are not sending vector artwork we ask you to send us the clearest image you can find as it helps us with the accuracy when redrawing in vector format.
Can you send me a mock-up?
Yes, we will always send a mock-up for your approval before starting production.
Can you send me variations of this mock-up?
Small tweaks and variations can be made to any apparel mock-up. However if you want to change your garment design entirely after the first mock-up is done, additional fees may apply.
