Tough Duck Jackets

If there's one thing Tough Duck is known for, it's their jackets. Broadly-speaking, they fall into 3 categories (as classified by their outer shell material):

  • Cotton Duck Jackets: these are the jackets that gave Tough Duck their name. They're tough-as-nails and great for any work environment.
  • Poly Oxford: these jackets align more with a modern winter coat. They provide more waterproofing than cotton duck jackets.
  • Quilted Jackets: although not quite as rugged as the other two styles, quilted jackets provide more mobility without sacrificing warmth.

TOUGH DUCK COTTON DUCK JACKETS

What is cotton duck? It's a heavy cotton fabric that's similar to, but more tightly woven than plain canvas. Known for it's ruggedness, it has a wide range of applications including, but not limited to: sandbags, hammocks, boat covers, and obviously work clothes. Duck jackets are great for any work environment, from the construction site to a farm, as it's extremely resistant to tearing, puncturing, and any other abuse you feel the need to put your coat through.

Tough Duck's Anarctica Parka is a newer, although quite popular coat. Compared to the Chore Jacket, it has a hood and is more heavily insulated and has a few other cold weather features, such as a storm flap over the zipper and rib knit cuffs.
